How to Get Here

LOCATED IN NORTHWESTERN ONTARIO CANADA

We are a fly-in camp, only accessible by seaplane through River Air Service out of downtown Kenora Ontario. You can also fly in with your own seaplane.  You can drive through International Falls or Baudette into  Ontario, or cross in Manitoba through Pembina.  You can also fly-in to Winnipeg, or Kenora airport. We also welcome guests with their own private aircraft, wheeled in Kenora and seaplanes at our docks.

FLY IN COMMERCIAL OR PRIVATE

Kenora has a large paved strip, with regional commercial flights on a scheduled basis.  From the Kenora Airport you can be shuttled or take a taxi to River Air Service (10 miles) that takes about 15 minutes.  Winnipeg is a large International airport with many regular scheduled flights.  Winnipeg is 2 hours from Kenora,  you can rent a car arrange a van service, or you can fly in style on the amphibious caravan directly to Sydney Lake Lodge.

YOUR OWN AIRCRAFT / CHARTER

REGIONAL SETTING

Sydney Lake Lodge is Located on the Sturgeon River System, Which Flows into the English River.  By air we are 62 miles north of Kenora on Lake of the Woods, 127 miles north west of Winnipeg, 40 miles southwest of Red Lake and 55 miles east of Ear Falls and Lac Seul.  Fish two large lakes of true Canadian unspoiled wilderness - Its what fishing in Canada should be.
